Applications close: Criminal Property Confiscation Grants

April 1, 2020 @ 12:00 am - 12:00 pm

Grants worth a total of $5 million are now available for not-for-profit community groups and local governments as part of the State Government’s Criminal Property Confiscation Grants Program. Applications close at 12 noon on Wednesday 1 April 2020.

Administered by the Department of Justice, the program allows local governments and non‑profit community groups to apply for grants of up to $200,000. The funds, which have been seized under the State’s proceeds of crime laws, will support projects that prevent or reduce drug-related crime and drug abuse, as well as support crime victims or aid law enforcement. In the previous grants round, 13 projects shared funding of $2.13 million.

For further information about the Criminal Property Confiscation Grants Program including the guidelines and an application form, visit the Department of Justice website.
