Regional Economic Activity is usually linked to the Gross Regional Product (GRP). GRP is the total monetary value of all final goods and services produced within a region for a certain period (usually one year) and might indicate regional levels of wealth. For the past decade, the Gross Regional Product in the Kimberley has been estimated in between $2 and $4 billion, representing approximately 1 to 3 per cent of the Gross State Product. The most recent GRP for the Kimberley was estimated at $3.06 billion (2019, current prices), which represented 1.1 per cent of the Gross State Product for that same period.
