Since 2010 the Commission has shaped the Kimberley Regional Investment Blueprint (the ‘Blueprint’) to become a plan for aspirational, balanced and sustainable levels of regional growth to 2036 and beyond.
The process has been rigorous and disciplined with a determined focus on assembling and using the best and most complete evidence-base available and then using that evidence to make sound strategic decisions in key areas. More than 177 existing plans and strategic documents were analysed, over 77 of our stakeholders and partners at national, state, regional and community levels have been extensively consulted and additional information has been sought from subject matter experts and drawn together in a number of Expert Position Papers. Over time this body of evidence will be added to and updated to guide the ongoing delivery of the “Blueprint’s” strategies and the decisions of all parties who have an interest in the future of the Kimberley.
The Kimberley boasts many progressive, vibrant and promising industries with large potential for future growth.
